Central Baptist Church Pretoria

Central Baptist Church Pretoria
One church on two campuses

Multigenerational, multicultural, student friendly, evangelical congregation in Pretoria where God sets the agenda.
A vibrant new evangelical church plant seeking to serve in the far East of Pretoria.

Having just focused on the birth of Jesus over Christmas and been reminded of the wonderful truth that Joseph was told; that Mary was to bear a Son and they were to call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins (Matthew 1:21) can leave us with great hope for the future. God has accomplished all that He promised in securing redemption through His Son and our Saviour which points to the continuing unfolding of His redemption purposes "according to plan".

The new year is upon us with some much uncertainty (politically, economically and socially) from a human perspective. However with God the future is not uncertain. Jesus will continue building His church, accomplishing all He has determined, working all things together for the good of those who love Him and have been called according to that purpose (Romans 8:28).

May you know the richness of every blessing in Christ as you navigate the new year looking to Jesus who "upholds the universe by the word of His power (Hebrews 1:3); being ...strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might (Ephesians 6:10).

And then just a few words about who we are...

We are a church now known as one church on two campuses. The Arcadia campus is conveniently situated near the University of Pretoria, Brooklyn, Queenswood, Colbyn, the Moot, Hatfield and Sunnyside. The Hill campus is situated on the far east of Pretoria down Atterbury road and accessible to the suburbs of the eastern side of edge of the Capital city.

Please feel free to join us as we worship God in song, prayer and in the exposition of God's word. We are a church where we want God to always lead us and set the agenda for all we do and say.

Thank you for visiting our website. We do trust that you will find your visit useful. Please take some time to explore our website and get to know us.

Ours is a multi-generation and multi-cultural church seeking to glorify God in all we do including a global vision for nations of the world. Like Paul we are not ashamed of the gospel. it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1v16).

We do invite you to share in our ministry by listening to the expository sermons preached here at Central week by week and are available at no cost. For those who prefer to read a hard copy you can also download a pdf of the morning messages.

May God richly bless you
